A great gun for the price. My only "warning" is that the shock cord is quite a bit shorter than described but is easily remedied by a longer length of Dacron or other cord. that being said, I would also not recommend this for shooting anything larger than 35lbs (15kg) or so, unless at extremely close range.
A Great close range gun for the reef, and perfect for anything freshwater. preforms well and shoots great.
It doesnt pay to overpay for a spear gun. This one works fine. I tie a string to my clip so I dont lose it because I have lost too many spearguns and dive bags in the past.
I keep two knives with me and I keep two compases with me as well. When you tie stuff on, it can get dangerous in terms of getting stuck or tangles but I think it is worth the risk if you bring two knives with you . 2 in case you drop one in an emergency.
I get a lot of fish with this gun but it is not made for long distance which is best evidenced by the price range.
